European patent validation agreement with Morocco

EPO President Benoît Battistelli and the Moroccan Minister for Industry announced the entry into force of the EPO validation agreement with Morocco from 01 March 2015. This agreement, signed on 17 December 2010, allows European patents applications to be validated in Morocco, even though Morocco is not an EPO member state. Validated European patent applications and patents will have the same legal effect as Moroccan national applications and patents.
